Polynesian Chicken Wings

These Polynesian Chicken Wings are sticky, sweet, and perfectly salty. They can be baked or slow cooked: either way, your home will be filled with a mouthwatering aroma!

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup low sodium tamari, soy sauce, or aminos
  • 1/3 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground ginger

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients for the sauce in a glass measuring cup or bowl. Whisk to combine.
  • Add wings to a large bowl or a plastic storage bag. Pour sauce over wings and marinate for an hour in the refrigerator or up to overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place wings on a baking sheet or in a large baking dish. Bake for 60 minutes, checking sporadically and flipping if needed. Trasnfer to a plate or to a slow cooker set on warm.
