Ingredients

  • 6 slices pumpernickel bread
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 Tbsp fresh dill, chopped (plus more to garnish)
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 6-8 radishes, very thinly sliced using a mandolin

Instructions

  • Combine butter, chopped dill and parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix completely to combine.
  • Spread butter on slices bread and put on a plate or platter. Refrigerate for an hour until butter hardens.
  • Once ready to assemble, slice the crusts from the bread and slice each piece of bread in half forming unfiorm rectangles or squares.
  • Thinly slice the radish and layer on top of each piece of bread. Garnish with fresh dill and sprinkle with salt.
