Gingery Carrot & Mango Smoothie
This Gingery Carrot & Mango Smoothie is an energizing way to start your day! Packed with nutrients and plenty of flavor to match, this smoothie recipe is one you'll make on repeat!

Servings: 1 smoothie
- 1 medium carrot, peeled and sliced in coins
- 1/2 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1/2 banana, sliced and frozen (see note)
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
In a small saucepan, add about 1/2 cup water. Add peeled and sliced carrot, allow to steam for 5-10 minutes util fork tender.
Meanwhile, prepare other ingredients. Add everything to your blender, and blend until completely smooth. Adjust amount of liquid if you prefer your smoothies thinner.
Insert straw, and enjoy!
Smoothie Tips
- I always have frozen banana coins on hand for smoothies - they add a creamy texture that can't be beat.
- When a banana is about to get a little TOO ripe, I'll peel and slice it, arrange on a small cookie sheet or plate, and freeze until 75% solid. I'll then transfer them to a container for ready access!
- Feel free to add your favorite protein powder or supplement to your smoothie! I'm partial to a collagen based protein powder to get an extra boost.
