Piña Colada Smoothie

This Piña Colada Smoothie transforms in to pure fluffy whipped MAGIC! Packed with good for you ingredients, this is a favorite post-workout snack!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 banana, sliced in to coins and frozen
  • 1 tsp coconut butter
  • 1/2-1 cup coconut water
  • See note for optional additions

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to blender, and process until smooth. Adjust amount of liquid if you prefer your smoothie thinner.
  • Insert straw (umbrella optional), sip, and enjoy.

Notes

Optional Additional Ingredients:
  • Collagen Powder - I like adding Collagen Peptides to my smoothies to benefit my joints, bones, hair, and nails. This version that I use touts 18 grams of protein per serving!
  • Coconut - Up the tropical flavor by adding some shredded coconut! I use this unsweetened version which adds great texture.
  • RUM - Feeling frisky? Add 1 oz white rum and 1/2 oz dark rum per drink. Drink umbrella no longer optional.
Other Ingredient Notes:
  • This is the coconut butter I use in my smoothies. It also is a key ingredient in delicious keto-friendly fat bombs!
  • I've tried a lot of coconut waters, and this by far is my favorite. There aren't any added sugars, it isn't made from concentrate, and there aren't any weird fillers. Just straight coconut water!
