Pumpkin Spice Latte

The drink that signifies fall’s arrival: the Pumpkin Spice Latte! Warm and spicy flavors are combined with espresso and warm milk resulting in your favorite cool weather beverage.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 Tbsp canned pumpkin
  • 1-2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Generous pinch nutmeg
  • Generous pinch ginger
  • Small pinch ground cloves
  • 1 shot espresso, Substitute 1 ounce strongly brewed coffee

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine almond milk, pumpkin, maple syrup, and spices. Warm to a simmer, and remove from heat.
  • Using a handhed frother, froth the milk until nice and foamy. Alternatively, you can use a hand whisk to aerate the milk, or a blender. Pour milk in to a mug.
  • Add espresso shot, and sprinkle with additional cinnamon and nutmeg.
