Bratwurst with Apples

- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 4 fresh bratwurst
- 2 apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 large sweet onion, sliced
- 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup dark beer, such as Oktoberfest
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
- 1/4 tsp freshly cracked pepper
Preheat oven to 400ยบ.
Add olive oil to a medium dutch oven set over medium heat. Add bratwurst and brown until golden on all sides.
Meanwhile, peel and slice the apple and the onion. Add to the pan of browned bratwurst.
Pour in applecider vinegar and beer and add caraway seeds and pepper. Stir to combine.
Roast for 30 minutes until apples and onions are soft and bratwurst are cooked through.
