- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/3 cup yellow onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1 recipe Zhug, recipe linked below
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine chicken, onion, garlic, and spices. Use your hands to combine the mixture.
Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, scoop mixture and form mini meatballs. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until cooked through.
Add Zhug to a large bowl. Add cooled meatballs, tossing to combine. You can opt to serve them warm if you prefer, though they're delicious served chilled as well!
