Ingredients

  • 8 oz log goat cheese
  • 24 oz jar Marinara sauce
  • 1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 baguette
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  • Set broiler to high.
  • Pour marinara sauce in to a cast iron skillet (alternatively you can use a baking dish).
  • You can choose to keep the log of goat cheese whole, or you can slice it in to medallions. Place goat cheese in marinara. Sprinkle with a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Broil until goat cheese is lightly browned and cheese and marinara are hot, about 10 minutes. Keep a close eye on the goat cheese to ensure it doesn't burn: if the cheese is browning too quickly, remove the dish and cover with tin foil. Return under broiler, and continue heating until mixture is hot.
  • As dip slightly cools, prepare baguette. Slice bread, place on a baking sheet. Brush on olive oil lightly, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Broil until baguette slices are toasted, flipping once to ensure both sides are toasted.
  • Serve dip with warm slices of toasted baguette.
