Servings: 1 cup
- 8 tablespoons 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup radishes very finely chopped (about 5-7 radishes)
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 –2 tablespoons fresh chives finely chopped
- 2 tsp fresh dill, chopped
- ½ teaspoon flaky sea salt plus more for finishing
- Freshly cracked black pepper optional
- 1 loaf crusty bread sliced and grilled or toasted
Finely chop the radishes—you want small pieces for even distribution and a pleasant texture (a quick pulse in a food processor works too, just avoid over-processing).
In a bowl, combine the softened butter, chopped radishes, lemon zest, herbs, and flaky salt. Mix until well combined.
Add a bit more salt or lemon zest if needed. A crack of black pepper is optional but nice.
Spread generously over warm grilled or toasted bread. Finish with an extra sprinkle of flaky salt if desired.
