Wedge Salad Skewers with Zesty Blue Cheese Dressing

Ingredients

For the skewers:

  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Cherry tomatoes halved
  • Red onion sliced into 1/2 inch sections
  • Cooked bacon
  • Crumbled blue cheese

For the zesty blue cheese dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 T. whole milk
  • 3 oz. crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • more if you like spice!

Instructions

  • Slice iceberg lettuce in half. Lay the lettuce head sliced side down, and cut into 1-inch sections. Thread lettuce onto a skewer.
  • Follow with the cherry tomato, red onion, and cooked bacon.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • When ready to enjoy, arrange on a platter, drizzle with zesty blue cheese dressing, and sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese.
  • For the zesty blue cheese dressing, mix all ingredients in a medium bowl until completely combined
