How To Make Cognac Soaked Cherries
Making these Cognac Stacked Cherries couldn’t be easier! You’ll need just two ingredients:
- Dried Cherries
- Cognac
Seek out VS as opposed to VSOP. These designations indicate the age of the Cognac, and will also dictate the price. VS (Very Special) will be a more cost effective Cognac, which is what you want in this recipe (since it will be infused with the dried cherries and not drunk straight).

Cognac Soaked Cherries
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup dried cherries
- 2 oz good Cognac VS not VSOP
Instructions
- Combine cognac and dried cherries in a small saucepan set over low heat.
- Bring to a low simmer and remove from heat. Transfer to a small jar to store.
