These Green Juice Margaritas are packed with healthy fruits and vegetables! In cocktail form! They’re spicy and sweet, and so simple to make. Best enjoyed promptly after making, and over ice.
IT’S THIRSTDAY. FINALLY.
Given the time of year though, and that we’re all probably doing the whole healthy eating, no drinking (read: less drinking) thing, I figure it’s only fair for me to post a healthy drink.
Wait, wait. Don’t go! This healthy drink also offers you the option to add tequila. Which is made from agave.
And it’s paleo.
So it’s basically a health elixir.
Just go with me here, ok? #trust
Green juice.
Tried it?
Love it?
Think it’s disgusting and only hipsters drink it (hey, don’t be a hater!)?
I happen to love green juice. No, it doesn’t taste like kale. Or spinach. Or celery. All of those things could be in green juice, and fine: I suppose it could slightly taste like one of the above.
But think of all the other delicious things that could go in a green juice! Apples, oranges, grapefruit, ginger, carrots, beets, pineapple…..pretty much any fruit you like. So get over it (and yourself) and try a damn green juice.
Lecture over.
And great news! I’ve got to recipe for you try. As mentioned, you can certainly add tequila if you’re feeling extra vibey.
Spinach, celery, cucumber, and green apple make it green.
Orange, ginger, pineapple, and grapefruit make it sweet and tart.
Tequila makes me turn in to Veronica. You now know my alter ego. Be warned.
Make in the morning, enjoy over ice. You’re a badass.
Make it for cocktail hour, shake with tequila. Arguably also a badass.
Either way, I hope you’ll enjoy this one.
CHEERS TO THIRSTDAY!!
