Daiquiris.
Don’t they just remind you of vacation?
Freshly squeezed fruit juice. Rum. Ice. Sandy beaches.
Ok, maybe the sandy beach you’ll have to pay extra for.
Daiquiris are so simple. Who would have thought? It just sounds like a complex drink to make. I’m here to assure you that that is far from the truth.
Now granted, you can certainly blend in some strawberries and ice, if you wanted to make things superrrrr complicated.
Can you sense the sarcasm?
As stated above: freshly squeezed lime juice, rum, and simple syrup. THAT’S IT.
What’s easier than that? And please. Don’t you dare say, “Um, a pre-made daiquiri mix?” Refer to my first #THIRSTday post for an apparently necessary lecture.
Before you know it, you too could be enjoying this incredibly easy cocktail. Beach not included.
