Peppermint Crunch Snack Mix
This tasty snack mix is the perfect treat for the holidays. Crunchy pretzels, Rice Chex cereal, Cocoa Puff cereal, and kettle corn are drizzled with white chocolate and topped with crushed candy canes. This mix is as good a treat to make for yourself or to give to others! Read on to learn how to make it!
How To Make Peppermint Crunch Snack Mix
This delicious snack mix includes a selection of crunchy ingredients. I’m not going to lie: this was a combination of random cereal and salty snacks I had in my pantry! It’s so easy to customize, but easier to devour.
Ingredients:
- Rice Chex Cereal
- Pretzels
- Kettle Corn
- Cocoa Puff Cereal
- White Chocolate
- Crushed Candy Canes
The Method
- Combine pretzels, popcorn, rice chex, and cocoa puffs in a large bowl.
- Add white chocolate to a separate small bowl and add peppermint extract. Microwave for 20 seconds and stir. Continue to microwave in 10 second increments until white chocolate is meted. Err on the side of microwaving the chocolate for less time, and rather rely on stirring to disperse the heat and melt the chocolate.
- Drizzle white chocolate over the cereal mix and mix completely to combine.
- Transfer to parchment paper and top with crushed candy canes. Allow to cool, and break into smaller pieces.
Ways To Make This Snack Mix Your Own
Like I mentioned above, this snack mix was truly a product of a selection of cereal and salty snacks that I already had in my pantry! It’s completely customizable, meaning you can use whatever snacks you have on hand. Mix and match the following ingredients to make a snack mix of your own!
- Pretzels
- Any kind of cereal
- Popcorn
- Chocolate Chips or hard shell chocolate candy (like M&M’s)
- Sprinkles

- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
