Ok, so let’s start with the pomelo.
It’s sweet. It’s tart. It’s a sibling of the grapefruit.
So naturally, it works, right?
SO RIGHT. Pomelo juice is a welcome addition to an already delicious classic Mexican cocktail.
This recipe couldn’t be simpler.
- Blanco Tequila
- Fresh Grapefruit Juice
- Fresh Pomelo Juice
- Grapefruit Soda (or Grapefruit flavored sparkling water)

Pomelo Paloma
This Pomelo Paloma is fresh, tart, and so simple! It’s an easy, light, and healthy drink recipe. Fresh grapefruit and pomelo juices are combined with Blanco Tequila and soda creating an incredibly refreshing cocktail. Make a pitcher of these of your next get together!
Servings: 1 drinks
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz blanco tequila
- 1 oz freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
- 2 oz freshly squeezed pomelo juice
- Grapefruit soda
Instructions
- Prepare your glass: wet the edge of your glass with the leftover citrus you squeezed. Dip lightly in kosher salt. Fill glasses with ice.
- In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, add tequila, grapefruit, and pomelo juices. Shake vigorously.
- Pout in to prepared glass, garnishing with a slice of pomelo.
