Chocolate Lover's Dream
When you think of luscious, sinful, delicious desserts…what comes to mind?
I would argue that for many, chocolate is the first thing that enters your realm of consciousness when that question is asked. And with good reason! The rich, sweet, and depending on which type of chocolate you’re working with, satisfyingly bitter flavor is undeniably delicious. White, milk, semi-sweet, dark, or bittersweet: they all are delectable.
Whether you’re looking for cookies, ice cream, or cake, there are countless ways to enjoy the sweet treat. But…wouldn’t it be nice to have a luscious, chocolatey, and simple recipe within reach when the craving strikes?
Let’s talk about this Three Ingredient Chocolate Mousse.
This dessert, you guys! It’s incredibly light, but has a deep and rich flavor, making it impossible to have just one bite. As its name aptly illustrates, it includes just three ingredients that are whipped to perfection and refrigerated. Its airy texture makes it a perfect dessert to follow a heavier meal, although it will be tough to turn it down regardless of the meal it follows!
How To Make Three Ingredient Chocolate Mousse
This recipe could truly not be simpler:
Cocoa Powder
Sugar
Heavy Cream
These three ingredients are combined in a large bowl, and whipped until thick. I like using my handheld mixer, but a stand mixer would work great, too! The mixture is transferred to individual containers and refrigerated until chilled. I like serving it with fresh strawberries, but any fresh fruit would be delicious!
