Equipment

  • 5-6 inch cast iron skillet or baking dish

Ingredients

  • 8 oz wheel of brie
  • 1 1/2 cups hulled and sliced strawberries
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh basil
  • Toasted baguette slices or crackers for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Unwrap the brie and place it in a 5-inch cast iron pan. Alternatively, place on a parchment lined baking sheet or in a baking dish.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until completely warmed through. The center will appear jiggly: this means the cheese is melted! Remove and allow to slightly cool.
  • As the brie cools, hull and slice the strawberries and place in a medium bowl. Add the honey and salt, tossing to combine.
  • Top with warm brie with the honey-glazed strawberries. Top with chopped basil. Serve with toasted baguette slices and crackers - enjoy!
