Chocolate Cherry Cardamom Muffins

A delicious baked good is practically required on a snowy winter morning. These muffins are packed with beautifully complementary flavors: chocolate, dried cherries, and cardamom. These muffins taste indulgent, but include far less sugar than many other muffin recipes, and include Greek yogurt which not only yields a tender muffin but also adds protein. They pair perfectly with Cameron’s Coffee Winter Blend. Pour yourself a cup and plate up one of these delicious muffins for the coziest morning.

Coffee Pairing with Cameron’s Coffee

The coffee I’m pairing these delicious muffins with is Cameron’s Coffee Winter Blend. The coffee itself is a medium roast, with notes of chocolate and spice – exactly the flavors that these muffins feature, too. The cardamom flavor in the muffins stands out after a sip of this delicious coffee. The chocolate chips and cocoa powder offer a double chocolate punch, which mirrors the roasted cocoa flavors of the coffee, as well. And of course, the dried cherries offer a tart sweetness that breaks up the richness of the muffin.
