You Dip, I Dip, We Dip
If there is one universally pleasing snack, what is it other than chips and salsa?! Salty, tangy, spicy: the perfect trio. There are endless options out there when it comes to the jarred favorite, but why not take things up a level? Why not try making your own?!
A handful of ingredients are tossed into a food processor and blended until perfectly textured. This salsa is unbeatably easy and so delicious! Read on to learn how to make it yourself!
How To Make Fresh Blender Salsa
This recipe is so wildly simple! To a blender or food processor add the following:
- Ugly tomatoes. You know the ones: they look less than ideal with a few bumps and bruises.
- White onion. It adds the right level of spice without being too overbearing.
- Cilantro. A non-negotiable in my book! If you aren’t a fan, feel free to omit.
- Garlic. Also a non-negotiable. It adds wonderful savory flavor.
- Lime juice and vinegar. I like adding both for extra flavor and acidity.
- Salt! Please do not omit!
Everything is blended up to perfection, making it the perfect scoopable snack.
Snack On!
Making your own salsa doesn’t need to be intimidating or “too much work”. It’s so simple and is so delicious! I hope you give this recipe a try and make it your own. No white onion? Add what you have! Want to add some peppers? Feel free! The beauty of a recipe like this is that you can truly make it your own. Enjoy!
