Delectable Dips & Scrumptious Spreads

Admittedly, I haven’t met a spread I haven’t liked.

Whether it’s cold or warm, spicy or savory, smoked or sweet, chances are high I’m going to love it.

But there are a few special dips: the ones that I can’t seem to get enough of, and honestly could polish off an entire  8-person serving on my own. This is one of those dips!

Hearts of Palm Dip

This luscious dip features hearts of palm, of course, which are literally the core of small palm trees. Mayonnaise and greek yogurt offer creaminess, while parmesan cheese adds salty bite.

This is the perfect dip for toasted baguette, but crackers would make a fine substitution.

Course: Appetizer

Keyword: Appetizers, DIps, Greek Yogurt, Hearts of Palm, Mayonnaise, Parmesan Cheese
Servings: 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 15 oz can hearts of palm, drained and roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 clove garlic, roughly chopped
  • pinch salt
  • Freshly cracked pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • In a food processor combine hearts of palm, mayonnaise, greek yogurt. 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper. Pulse lightly to combine. Use a spatula to stir mixture further, ensuring all ingredients have been combined.
  • Continue to pulse until desired consistency is reached. I like having a few larger pieces, so be sure to not over blend it!
  • Transfer to a small baking dish and top with remaning 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. Bake for 20 minutes or until top is golden brown and dip is warmed through. Serve wth toasted baguette slices and crackers.
